Traveling to Competition

DANCERS & PARENTS:

There is estimated to be snowy/rainy weather on Friday during the daytime & also in the evening. Please make sure you travel cautiously. Also if you are traveling Saturday morning, please plan to leave extra early so that you can drive cautiously, because there may be slick roads or even black ice. We do not want anyone to be in a car accident.

Please travel carefully & we will see you at competition!!

COMPETITION

COMPETITION: MARCH 27th

Competition is THIS Saturday. All dancers need to be to our team locker room (Girls Locker Room) BEFORE 12:30 pm. You need to be ready with correct hair, make-up & costume under your warm-ups by this time. If you are late or not completely ready at this time, you may not be able to compete. Please allow extra travel time & time for parking. Last year the parking lot was full by 10 am. You may need to park a short distance from the school and walk to the school. Please plan your travel time accordingly. Dancers will not be excused for being late due to any parking problems. ARRIVE ON TIME & READY!

PARENTS & Dancers, it is so important that we set a good example for our team and all the other teams/spectators at the competition. We need ALL dancers AND parents to show good sportsmanship at all times during the competition. Please, make sure all our dancers are professional in how they act and look. Even the “little things” matter, such as: hair slicked back with lots of hair spray, no runs or holes in tights, no holes or major scuffs in shoes, costumes & accessories on correctly, hair styled the CORRECT way, hair pieces bobby pinned, no colored nail polish, no jewelry, cheering for our team as well as other teams, complimenting others on how well they did, etc. You might not think the "little things" matter but they really do! We want to be the most professional team at the competition, we want to be the best example of what a team should really be. Parents help set the example!

GOOD LUCK TO OUR SOLOISTS. You have all worked so hard & have improved so much. I am proud of all our soloists for having the courage to get out on the big gym floor by themselves and perform. You will all do fantastic!! Let's aim for top placings!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF OUR EDE DANCERS!! Dancers remember to always do your best! You girls have been working so hard and improving incredibly!! Let's show everyone what you can do!! When we work together as a team we can accomplish so much more!! Let's show the judges, audience and other teams that we can do that!! You have all earned this opportunity!! Let's make the best of it!! Just go out there and do your best!! That's what really matters! We will all get a team trophy for each routine and it doesn't matter what place it says on it as long as we can say we had fun, performed our best & were rewarded for all the hard work you have put in to this team! You are all amazing dancers & I am so proud of you! I can't wait to see you all perform your best at competition this weekend!!

GOOD LUCK EDE!!
